  • Gray Matter: Voice recordings for English version finalized!

Mid september, the Englsih voice recordings for Gray Matter were completed. The recordings were produced by Heavy Entertainment, in their awardwinning studios located in Soho, London.

Jane Jensen supervised all of the English voice recordings, which were directed by Lorelei King. She appeared in numerous films from Hollywood blockbusters such as 'Notting Hill' and 'The Saint,' to British independent films and TV shows.

Publisher dtp entertainment managed to gather a number of popular voice talents for Gray Matter: For example, Sam Everett, the game’s female main character, is performed by actress Philippa Alexander. Dr. David Styles, the game’s main male character is played by Steven Pacey, (known from British movies and TV). Furthermore, the cast also includes well known British actors and voice actors like Adrienne Poster, Rupert Degas and Sascha Dahwan.

  • Make sure to keep an eye on www.adventuregamers.com who were present at the recordings!

  • I have found two more websites of Gray Matter artists!
There is Cyril Thamasebi’s website (concept artist) and Nicolas Petrimaux’s website (concepts, characters, storyboard and cutscenes).

Carefull though! The last one shows an example of a Gray Matter Cutscene, it might contain spoilers!
  • We are counting down to the Gamescom 2009.
The event starts this wednesday (20th-23rd of August ) in Cologne!Though dtp Entertainment will attend the fair, there was no formal announcement that they would be showing Gray Matter to the public or press. We'll watch out and keep our fingers crossed! ;-)
  • For those of you that do not read our forum, I'm planning an interview with wizarbox's in-house designer Dinga Bakaba. Any questions you would like to see answered are welcome. I'll make a selection of the best!

The titles Jane mentions seem pretty interesting: who knows whether any Gray Matter fan will try to shorten the wait by paying a visit to the library...
  • Her post does not include any screenshot, but there's another piece of beautiful high resolution concept art for us to enjoy!

  • Nico shows his wizardry (or sleight-of-hand) by finding a previously unpublished concept art from Gray Matter! It’s the kitchen from Dread Hill House. It was drawn by a freelancing artist named Csaba Kemeri.

  • Note though, since it’s artwork from Tonuzaba and not Wizarbox, it might be outdated. Still neat!!
